Want a quick way to expand your sewing creativity? This is a quick, fun and easy project.
In this 4 hour class Viv will show you how to make three different bowls/plates.
1) A shallow plate with a fabric bottom.
2) A bowl with fabric appliques.
3) A bowl with scalloped edges.
You will have time to make and complete your choice of two of these three options
There will be plenty of examples in different sizes and colors to give you ideas
for this class and any future bowls you make later
They make unique gifts — but be careful-the technique is quite addictive!
Your kit will include a white and a choice of colored rope (each 100ft long)
A choice of fabric plate bottom with trims
A choice of fabric appliques
A choice of templates for the scalloped edged bowl
You may also choose to buy fabric for a customized applique or plate bottom.
Supply List for Rope Plate Class:
Sewing machine with an open toe foot and a jeans needle fitted.
A cream/beige cotton or polyester thread for making the plate.
Pins and scissors.
